Job Summary:

The Claims Administrative Support Representative provides essential administrative services related to claims processing, including creating and assessing claims, handling pet medical records, routing claims, and researching information for claim completion.

Job Location:

Remote

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Enter and import documents and policy information into the policy management system.
  2. Analyze pet medical records and input claim line items accurately.
  3. Route claims based on situation requirements.
  4. Maintain daily contact with internal departments.
  5. Participate in team meetings and provide additional administrative support as needed.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Typing speed of 50+ words per minute.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Kofax.
  • At least 6 years of recent experience in the veterinary field.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in administrative roles within the veterinary industry preferred.
  • Licensed veterinary technicians strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer and customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to write professional letters.
Working Conditions:
  • Remote work environment.
  • Regular use of computer mouse and keyboard.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Frequent repetitive hand movements.
  • Potential for overtime.

Hours of Operation:
  • 8-hour shifts starting between 7am and 10am EST, Monday through Friday.
