Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an experienced Business Applications Manager to oversee document management applications and the related data archiving solutions. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications, drive a strategic roadmap, and ensure stability, security, and alignment with enterprise goals.

The role blends leadership with hands-on oversight of L2/L3 production support, releases, testing, and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

5+ years in information technology, business applications, or related field.
2+ years of experience as a people leader/manager.
Experience with document management platforms and enterprise applications.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 production support for document management apps and archival solutions.
Monitor health and performance; resolve production issues within SLAs.
Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
Translate business requirements into sustainable technical outcomes.
Coordinate UAT, testing, releases, and post-production verification.
Lead and develop the team, manage budget input and performance reviews.
Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and IT groups to drive upgrades and improvements.
Prepare runbooks and system documentation; monitor runs and metrics.
