Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a Document Imaging Coordinator to manage the imaging system, monitor workflows, and support HIM operations in a hybrid role during renovation. You will troubleshoot issues, train staff, and participate in testing of new features for the Medconnect system.

Responsibilities include maintaining workflow, interfacing with Information Services, and leading system maintenance while ensuring quality and compliance in health information management.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a medical record environment.
• Experience with automated HIM systems in a network environment.
• Previous leadership and electronic medical record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify system deficiencies and recommend actions.
• Monitor and support the Medconnect system and workflow.
• Provide user support and training materials for HIM department operations.
• Collaborate with Information Services on system communications.
• Direct and participate in system maintenance and workflow management.
• Ensure proper handling of scanner issues and document queues.
