Job summary

GBU Life is seeking a Business Document Specialist to design, develop, and maintain forms, contracts, and other business documents supporting insurance and annuity operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create compliant, user-friendly documents that enhance customer experience and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and InDesign.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, technical writing or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in document design, forms management or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, revise, and maintain applications, contracts, service forms, disclosures, and other business documents.
• Create and maintain fillable electronic forms using Adobe Acrobat and other approved document technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Compliance, Operations, and other units to gather requirements and develop document solutions.
• Ensure documents comply with regulatory requirements, policies, branding, and style guidelines.
• Apply document design best practices to improve readability, usability, and customer experience.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews, proofreading, and testing of forms and communications.
• Maintain document version control and change management records.
• Manage multiple document projects and report status to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to simplify forms and improve workflows.
• Support document automation and digital transformation initiatives.
