Job summary

DOF is seeking several experienced Document Controllers to support our Atlantic region and collaborate with the Lead Document Controller in Norway, project managers, and project technical managers.

You will assist in managing document control requirements, utilize ProArc or similar DMS, and train new users while ensuring alignment with project administration. Fluency in English and offshore sector interest are important for success.

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years handling documentation for marine operations (preferred).
• ProArc or similar document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Structured work approach with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with project teams and stakeholders.
• Experience from or interest in the offshore/subsea sector.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Overview

Join DOF as a Document Controller. We are seeking several experienced Document Controllers to support our Atlantic region and collaborate with the Lead Document Controller in Norway, Project Manager, and Project Technical Managers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Document Controller in managing and supporting document control requirements in the Atlantic Region.
• Use document management systems such as ProArc or similar, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; provide training for new users.
• Analyze client requirements to execute projects and organize activities in line with project administrative requirements.
• With the Project Technical Manager, define instructions to Engineering Disciplines and other participants regarding documentation to be supplied to the Client and documentation to be obtained from Vendors, Suppliers, and Subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in business administration, economy, management or similar; experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience handling documentation for marine operations (preferred).
• Proficient in ProArc or similar document management systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Structured work approach with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams and stakeholders.
• Experience from or interest in the offshore/subsea sector.
