Job summary

Sciton is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage critical records, ensure data accuracy, and uphold quality standards across manufacturing and engineering functions. The role supports ECOs, BOMs, PLM/ERP workflows, and site audits.

You will collaborate with process engineers, quality, and operations on documentation, tooling checks, and continuous improvement efforts while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and on‑time deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of document control experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in manufacturing.
• Experience with ECOs, BOMs, and PLM/ERP systems.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise part numbers to support manufacturing and engineering needs.
• Organize and process ECOs, ensuring timely and accurate implementation.
• Create, review, and modify Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Manage documents and the document control system for compliance.
• Review documents for regulatory and internal policy adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on document control matters.
• Support manufacturing engineers on the shop floor with documentation and validation.
• Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Assist with production setup, tooling checks, and quality inspections as needed.
• Understand workflows and process controls to provide relevant documentation.
