Job summary

ColdSnap in Billerica, MA is seeking a full-time Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of food safety and quality documentation for ColdSnap and co-packers. This role ensures audit-ready records and regulatory adherence.

The position focuses on supplier certifications, COAs, HACCP plans, labeling compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. On-site work at our MA facility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, QA, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
• 3–5 years in document control, QA, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience with GFSI schemes (SQF, BRC, FSSC22000) preferred.
• Knowledge of labeling requirements and nutrition panels.
• Proficiency with Certdox or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage document intake, routing, approvals, and archiving in Certdox.
• Collect and review supplier documentation including LOGs, COAs, specs.
• Maintain expiration timelines and audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with co-packers to ensure compliant records.
• Update HACCP and quality system documents as needed.
• Support audits and inspections by organizing records.
• Ensure accurate allergen statements and nutrition labels.
• Maintain traceability and recall preparedness.
• Lead cross-functional documentation improvements.
