Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Safety & Quality Specialist to oversee safety programs and regulatory compliance within the facility. You will manage direct reports, coordinate with site leadership, and act as the Food Safety Coordinator as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety documentation, leading accident investigations, and preparing for SIS and audits. This role requires hands-on experience in cold and dry storage environments and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 2 years quality or safety experience in a logistics, industrial, or related environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20 F to 100 F in various storage areas with PPE.
• Must be comfortable with variable noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity and safety.
• Collaborate with site leadership to prevent and resolve quality and safety issues.
• Act as Food Safety Coordinator when needed.
• Maintain safety paperwork and training records.
• Lead accident investigations and follow up with involved parties.
• Prepare for Safety Inspection Systems (SIS) and customer audits.
