Job summary

Coldsnap is seeking a Batch Operations Coordinator in Massachusetts to lead daily batching on the production floor, ensuring accurate execution and compliance with GMP and SQF standards. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor/Manager and train on-floor staff to maintain smooth operations.

The role requires 3+ years in food/beverage manufacturing, knowledge of batching systems, and willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in food or beverage manufacturing in SQF/GFSI facilities.
• Experience leading batch room operations and coordinating daily batching.
• Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, sanitation and batch record documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead daily batch room operations
• Weigh, measure, and stage ingredients per formulations
• Operate batching equipment and supporting systems
• Perform CIP cycles and sanitation procedures
• Ensure timely supply of finished mixes to lines
• Maintain GMPs and food safety compliance
• Review batch records and traceability logs
• Ensure proper sample collection for QA/QC
• Troubleshoot process issues on the floor
• Train batch room personnel on procedures and safety
• Assist with audit preparation and readiness
