Job summary

DLA Document Services in the United States is seeking a Document Automation Procurement Specialist to support customer service, marketing services, and desktop publishing workflows. You will manipulate digital files with printing management tools to fulfill customer requests and advise on design, layout, and production methods from concept to finished product.

You will review specifications, ensure compliance with price, quality, and timeliness, and prepare orders for in-house production and GPO

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in customer service and marketing support for documents.
• Ability to advise on design, layout, and production of complex publications.
• Experience coordinating with procurement and distribution methods for print items.

Responsibilities

• Acts as customer advocate for Document Services, providing service and marketing support.
• Uses printing management programs to prepare and manipulate digital files for output.
• Gives technical advice on preparation, design, layout, specs, production, and distribution.
• Reviews specs and ensures final product meets price, quality, legality, and timeliness.
• Prepares orders for in-house production and GPO procurement via GPO Express.
• Liaises between customers and GPO procurement on specs, distribution, and bids.
