Job summary

XPO is seeking a Dockworker (Hostler) in Fort Worth, TX. You will move trailers around the yard, operate a hostler and pallet jack or forklift, and ensure safe loading of freight at least once weekly. The role requires attention to safety, the ability to work in varying weather, and being able to stand for long periods.

Prefer candidates with dock/warehouse experience and forklift exposure. This is a physically demanding role with diverse shifts, paying around $30.85 per hour for experienced

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Pass a company-paid, pre-hire test.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers throughout the property.
• Operate hostler and other equipment (pallet jack, forklift) safely.
• Load freight at least once per week.
• Work in all weather and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Adhere to company safety policies and scan shipments with handheld devices.
