BSP Trans, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time 3rd Shift Dockworker and Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Westbrook, ME. The role offers weekday hours, a steady start time, and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating forklift and pallet jack, securing freight, and maintaining safety standards on a non-climate-controlled dock. Prior dock experience is a plus, with a focus on accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of a county-level background check during onboarding.
• Ability to work in a high-paced, team-oriented environment with clear communication.
• Forklift and dock/warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate pallet jack, forklift, and manual equipment as needed.
• Secure freight inside trailers with appropriate tools and supplies.
• Adhere to company safety policies while working on the dock.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled dock, with potential slippery surfaces.
• Lift freight up to 50 lbs frequently and over 70 lbs occasionally.
• Perform basic math with and without a calculator.

Full-Time | Monday - Friday | Westbrook, ME |12:00 AM Start Time

BSP Trans, Inc. has been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

We're currently hiring a Full-Time 3rd Shift Dockworker and Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. If you're looking for a hands-on warehouse career with consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and excellent benefits, we'd love to meet you.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies
• Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods of time and may be slippery
• Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 70 lbs. occasionally
• Be able to do math with and without a calculator

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a high paced team-oriented environment with great communication skills
• To be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a successful completion of a county level background check during onboarding

It would be great if you also have:

• Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry
• Forklift experience in a freight/less-than-truckload environment
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Desire to succeed with a strong attention to detail
