Job summary

• Assist with freight handling, shipping, receiving, and dock operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.

Position:Dock Worker and Forklift Operator Part Time

Location: Windsor, VT

Part-Time Dock Worker and Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

BSP Trans Inchas been providing the Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont areas with outstanding LTL transportation services since 1970. At BSP, our team consists of a six-terminal network across our coverage area to ensure swift deliveries for customers.

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Dock Worker and Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. If you're looking for a fast-paced warehouse position where you can stay active, operate forklifts, and work with a great team, we'd love to hear from you.

What you will do on a typical shift:

• Load and unload freight trailers safely and efficiently
• Sort, stage, and move palletized and non-palletized freight
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Secure freight inside trailers using load bars, straps, and other equipment
• Assist with freight handling, shipping, receiving, and dock operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and loading dock
• Lift, carry, push, and pull freight weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and over 70 pounds occasionally

What you need at a minimum to succeed at BSP:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a county-level background check during onboarding
• Basic math and counting skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Preferred Experience:

• Warehouse or dock worker experience
• Shipping and receiving experience
• LTL freight or transportation industry experience
• Experience loading and unloading freight trailers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
