Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time dock/warehouse worker to load and unload materials, prepare shipments, and move goods to designated areas.

You will assist drivers, help maintain a clean, safe dock, and may require forklift certification (a plus). Candidates must read and write, perform basic math, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with days and hours varying.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and apply basic math skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials on the dock and take them to designated areas.
• Arrange goods for shipment to individual stores as directed.
• Move store return goods to After-Market sales area as needed.
• Assist driver in picking up trash and donations from various sites, and deliver them to the proper designated locations.
• Always help to maintain a clean and safe working dock area.
• Other additional duties as assigned.

Salary: $14.82 per hour

Work Hours:FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Monday throughSaturday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.; Days and Hours Vary

Specific Requirements:Must be able to read and write and apply basic math skills. Forklift certification a plus.

Physical Requirements:Physical stamina needed to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Walking, standing, stooping, reaching and pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds, on a consistent basis; sufficiently mobile to work in any area of the facility and be able to bend, reach and stand for extended periods of time.

Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, pass background, drug screen and physical examination.
