Job summary
La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Z-Dock-associate in Grand Rapids to assist with offloading, receiving, stocking, and shipping in a warehouse environment. You will scan barcodes, record movements, and operate powered equipment like forklifts.
Responsibilities include receiving inbound goods, stocking designated areas, fulfilling orders, and performing regular cycle counts while adhering to safety practices. This role requires physical effort and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
- 1–2 years’ experience in warehousing, receiving, packing, shipping and/or storage is preferred.
- Forklift certification is required; experience using a cherry picker is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Receive, transport and stock inbound products; record stock locations in the inventory system.
- Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound products to shipping lanes.
- Perform inventory cycle counts as required to meet compliance.
- Operate heavy industrial equipment and work at heights with fall protection.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse in accordance with safety regulations.
