Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team in our US facility in Grand Rapids. You will oversee shipping, receiving, storage and distribution, ensuring efficient operations and safeguarding inventory.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling, policy enforcement and a focus on safety and productivity within a 40-hour workweek. Travel is minimal as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4-6 years of relevant experience or 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general warehouse operations and employees.
• Schedules inbound and outbound arrivals.
• Maintains a strong dock presence and inspects work in progress.
• Enforces all policies and procedures.
• Maximizes productivity through training and supervision.
• Hires, trains, coaches and conducts evaluations for warehouse personnel.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Unloading, loading, deluxing and minor furniture repairs as needed.

Education

High School Diploma or GED with 4-6 years of relevant experience or 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
