Job summary
La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to assist with offloading, receiving, storing, and distributing products in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate forklifts and cherry pickers, scan barcodes, and keep inventory accurate in the proprietary system.
The role requires handling heavy items, basic computer use, and clear communication to coordinate with teams and carriers. This onsite position offers benefits and requires adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping or storage of goods.
- Forklift certification required; cherry picker experience a plus.
- Basic computer skills for inventory logs and databases.
- Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Responsibilities
- Receive, transport and stock inbound products from manufacturing facilities and suppliers; including lifting and using material handling equipment.
- Fulfill orders by locating, transporting, offloading and scanning outbound products to shipping lanes; ensure proper serialization matching.
- Perform inventory cycle counts daily, weekly or monthly to meet company requirements.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and adhere to safety regulations.
