R+L Carriers, a leading transportation company, seeks a Dock Supervisor at our Colonial Heights, VA Service Center. The role oversees dock and dispatch operations on a 3rd shift (1:00 AM–10:00 AM), ensuring timely LTL load dispatch and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

• Timely dispatching of LTL loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Service Center Manager.

Dock Supervisor, Pay is $68,000 - $85,000 per year.

3 rd Shift, Full-Time, Monday – Friday 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Requirements / Qualifications

• Driver and Freight Handler Management


• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling


• Ensure Safety Compliance


• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed


• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads


• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager


• Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.


• Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.


• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.


• Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.


• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas


• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.
