Job summary

R+L Carriers in Colonial Heights, VA, is seeking a Dock Supervisor for the 3rd shift to manage dock and dispatch operations. You will lead driver and freight handler teams, coordinate dock operations and scheduling, ensure safety compliance, and dispatch LTL loads in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role offers $68,000–$85,000 per year, Monday–Friday 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM, one week of vacation after 90 days, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling and safety procedures.

Dock Supervisor, Pay is $68,000 - $85,000 per year.

3rd Shift, Full-Time, Monday – Friday 1:00 AM to 10:00 AM

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Dock Supervisor at our Colonial Heights, VA. Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
• Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.
• Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Must have computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.
