Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Z-Dock Supervisor to lead a warehouse team in ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution. You will supervise staff, schedule inbound/outbound flows, and maintain dock safety and performance.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a solid understanding of inventory processes. Travel up to 5% may be required; a Bachelor’s is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general warehouse operations and employees.
• Schedules inbound and outbound arrivals.
• Maintains a constant dock presence inspecting work in progress.
• Applies and enforces all policy and procedures.
• Maximizes productivity through training and supervision.
• Hires, trains, coaches and evaluates warehouse personnel.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness across the facility.
• Unloading, loading, deluxing, and minor furniture repairs as needed.
