Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Montgomery, AL seeks a Warehouse Lead to supervise a team of Warehouse Associates, schedule work, and ensure safe, efficient picking, moving and shipping of merchandise.

You will train staff, maintain records, perform dock inspections, and uphold RDC security procedures while coordinating across receiving, inventory and repairs to maximize productivity and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Preferred: Leadership experience.
• Experience with RMS depth is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Schedule work within the assigned team and area.
• Create work documents for picking, moving, and shipping of merchandise.
• Maintain records and assignment lists for accountability.
• Inspect work in progress and train staff for proper techniques.
• Unloading, loading, deluxing and minor furniture repair as needed.
