Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and develop a team, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, storage and distribution while protecting inventory.

You will hire, train, coach and evaluate staff, enforce safety policies, and drive productivity across the facility with a focus on accuracy and on-time performance. Role requires 4–6 years in warehousing and 1–3 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of supervisory / leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general warehouse operations and employees.
• Schedules inbound and outbound arrivals.
• Maintains dock presence, inspecting work in progress.
• Enforces all policies and procedures.
• Maximizes productivity through training and supervision.
• Hires, trains, coaches and evaluates warehouse personnel.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Unloads, loads, deluxes and performs minor furniture repairs as needed.
• Performs duties to ensure objectives and goals are met.
