Job summary

The Judge Group, INC. is seeking a Dock Operations Manager in Osceola, AR to lead operations and maintenance, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will interface with customers, vendors, and authorities while managing P&L, expenses, and capital investments to drive continuous improvement and revenue growth.

You will supervise a large team (50–60 direct reports) and coordinate port activities on the Mississippi River, shaping efficient dock operations and safety culture.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operations management experience in heavy industries (steel, aggregates, construction)
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures
• Experience leading a maintenance department and knowledge of heavy equipment operations
• Proficient with computer software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word)

Dock Operations Manager

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Site lead, responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance and ensuring the site is operated in a safe manner, in compliance with customer contractual requirements, and applicable local, state and federal regulations
• Responsible for direct interface with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and other third parties
• Financial management of site operations (P&L, Expense Management, and Capital Investment)
• Continuous improvement and revenue growth
• Managing a team of around 50 to 60 direct reports
• Handle all incoming and outgoing port activity on the Mississippi River

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4+ years of operations management experience in the steel (mill and scrap operations), aggregate, construction or other related industries
• Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures, and industrial safety programs
• Experience working in and leading a maintenance department is preferred, to include knowledge of heavy equipment operations
• Knowledgeable in the use of computer software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, Excel, Word, etc.)
