Job description

Position Summary

We are looking for a full-time Dock Operator to join our on-site team inHouston, TX. This role is centered around handling cement products, including loading, unloading, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring equipment remains in good working condition. A strong focus on safety and attention to operational detail are key to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all OSHA safety procedures, including the consistent use of proper personal protective equipment
  • Work to uphold or exceed all internal safety benchmarks and expectations
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the dock and surrounding areas
  • Assist with minor equipment maintenance and repair as needed
  • Take on additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by site supervisors
  • Carry out physically demanding tasks such as bending, squatting, stooping, shoveling, and sweeping throughout the shift
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Background in dock or warehouse operations
  • Skilled in forklift operation, with a focus on safety and precision
  • Understanding of inventory tracking and documentation systems
  • Strong organizational habits and a keen eye for detail
