Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team and manage shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution efficiently. You will enforce policies, train staff, and ensure safety and security across the facility.

The role involves supervising up to 10 reports, coordinating inbound/outbound flows, and maintaining inventories valued at several million dollars. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general warehouse operations and employees.
• Schedules inbound and outbound arrivals.
• Maintains a constant dock presence inspecting work in progress.
• Enforces all policies and procedures.
• Maximizes productivity through training and supervision.
• Hires, trains, coaches and evaluates warehouse personnel.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Unloads, loads, deluxes and performs minor furniture repairs as needed.
• Performs duties to meet objectives and goals.
