Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a warehouse team, oversee shipping/receiving, and safeguard inventory in a fast-paced facility. You will coordinate inbound/outbound flow, ensure efficiency, and enforce policies with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include training, coaching, and evaluating staff, maintaining dock operations, and upholding security and cleanliness standards across the site. This is a hands-on leadership role with travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or 1–3 years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.
• Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Up to 5% travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general warehouse operations and employees.
• Schedules inbound and outbound arrivals.
• Maintains a constant dock presence inspecting work in progress.
• Applies and enforces all policy and procedures.
• Maximizes productivity of personnel by proper training and supervision.
• Hires, trains, coaches and performs official evaluations for warehouse personnel.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the facility and property.
• Unloading, Loading, Deluxing and minor furniture repairs as needed.
• Performs every duty in the warehouse as needed to ensure objectives and goals are met.
