Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead in Michigan to verify and record inbound and outbound shipments and prepare items for shipment. You will supervise dock operations, coordinate material movement, and ensure accuracy against bills of lading and invoices.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years related experience, familiarity with AS9100/ISO14001, and dependable performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and IS14001 and adherence to safety policies.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Affixes shipping labels and marks crates with identifying shipping information.
• Oversees loading/unloading and movement of material on the shipping dock and coordinates with departments.
• Unpacks, inspects shipments, records shortages, and coordinates with shippers to resolve damages or shortages.
• Coordinates inter-company shipments and receipts between plants and uses PLEX receiving system.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and ensures compliance with company policies.
