Job summary

Pacific Seafood in Seward, AK is seeking a Dock Supervisor to oversee receiving operations, equipment handling, and quality control on a busy dock. The role requires coordinating staff, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The position reports to the Res Bay Supervisors and offers a full-time schedule with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. Physical requirements and safety protocols are integral to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year related experience and/or training.
• Prior experience with HACCP, COOL Act, or other food safety programs (preferred).
• Fork-Lift Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule dock appointments for orderly product receiving.
• Direct dock activities and staff scheduling.
• Maintain and enforce dock safety rules.
• Oversee APC receiving.
• Ensure HACCP and SSOP standards are met.
• Review inventory with plant manager.
• Maintain fisherman/vendor relationships.
• Monitor landing quality of received products.
• Complete and submit E-Tickets.
• Ensure proper labeling of all products.
• Operate dock equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, trucks, cranes).
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
