Job summary

Pacific Seafood is hiring a Dock Supervisor in Seward to manage dock operations, receive inventory, and uphold high quality standards. You will lead dock activities, schedule staff, and ensure safety and sanitation protocols are followed to maintain product integrity.

The role requires experience with crane, hoist, and forklift operation, knowledge of knots, and at least one year in related work. Proficiency with HACCP/SSOP and strong vendor relationships are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with crane, hoist, and forklift operation.
• Knowledge of basic knots and line splicing.
• Minimum one year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Schedule dock appointments to ensure smooth receiving of product.
• Direct dock activities and coordinate staff scheduling.
• Maintain and enforce dock safety rules and sanitation standards.
• Oversee all APC receiving and HACCP/SSOP compliance.
• Review inventory with plant manager and maintain vendor relationships.
• Operate dock equipment (forklifts, telehandlers, loaders, trucks, cranes).
• Ensure products are labeled and meet quality expectations.
