Goodwill NY/NJ is seeking a Lead Dock Runner to support daily warehouse operations, moving donated goods, and aiding with loading and unloading trucks. You will help ensure items are accurately distributed to appropriate areas and docks, while maintaining a safe, organized environment that aligns with Goodwill’s mission.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety procedures, and effective communication with the operations management team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or retail back‑room experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Fast‑paced, physically demanding environment; strong teamwork and time management required.
• Flexible schedule: Monday–Saturday 8 am–6 pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
• Follow daily routing schedule for the upstate region.
• Maintain safe, organized dock areas and report hazards.
• Coordinate with Ryder team and warehouse leadership on priorities.
• Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Ensure donations are sorted and documented per NY/NJ standards.
• Support end‑of‑shift housekeeping and safety briefings.
