Job summary

PROTRANS INTERNATIONAL LLC is seeking an Ops - Facility professional in Romulus, MI to coordinate the receiving, storing and shipping of incoming freight and related data entry. You will verify shipments, manage inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts, and ensure proper paperwork and Barcoding are completed.

The role requires the ability to read and follow instructions, operate TMS software, and pass forklift performance tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, follow instructions, and perform basic data entry tasks.
• Experience with warehouse management and inventory control processes.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and forklift operations as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, storing, and shipping of freight and related data entry.
• Verify shipments, manage inventory accuracy, and perform cycle counts.
• Coordinate yard movement, dock checks, and trailer positioning.
• Prepare materials for shipment with correct paperwork and bar codes.
• Inspect facilities and report equipment needs; enforce safety policies.
• Assist with planning safety and plant protection activities.
• Ensure staff has assignments and proper tools; drive continuous improvement.
