Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a full-time dock worker in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves loading/unloading materials, aiding in shipments, and maintaining a clean dock area. 40 hours per week, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Saturday; schedule may vary.

Forklift certification is a plus and basic math, reading, and mobility are required. Employee will assist drivers, manage donations from sites, and ensure safety and organization at the dock.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and apply basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials on the dock and move them to designated areas.
• Arrange goods for shipment to individual stores as directed.
• Move store return goods to the After‑Market sales area as needed.
• Assist the driver in picking up trash and donations from various sites, and deliver them to the proper designated locations.
• Help maintain a clean and safe working dock area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Hours

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and apply basic math skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Physical stamina required to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, reach, and pull, push, lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
• Must be sufficiently mobile to work in any area of the facility and able to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Documentation to satisfy I‑9 requirements, pass background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
