Job summary

FedEx Freight in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Dock Worker to transport freight across the dock area to and from trailers and assist with loading to trailers.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least 18 years old, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds; forklift experience preferred. Starting pay is $22.77 per hour with a typical range up to $26.64, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in warehousing or freight handling preferred; hostler duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck to move freight.
• Verify freight against documentation and load descriptions.
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, and rope.
• Assist customers with freight and documentation as needed.
• Perform hostling duties when required.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
