Job summary

Equipment Depot is seeking a Dock Technician to identify customer needs and deliver profitable, high-quality service at client sites. The role involves installing and servicing dock equipment outside in varying weather, including dock levelers, shelters, seals, bumpers, and doors.

You will diagnose problems, repair equipment, order parts, communicate with dispatch, and maintain safety standards while representing the company professionally.

Position Summary

To identify the specific needs of existing and potential customers (internal and external) and provide solutions that ensure profitability through total customer satisfaction, as defined by the customer. A Dock Technician will install and service dock equipment at various customer locations. The majority of work is outside and candidates need only apply if they are able to work in the various weather elements. Dock Technicians perform high-quality service repairs on all loading dock equipment, examples can be dock levelers (aka – “plates”), dock shelters, dock seals, dock bumpers, commercial doors, and more.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Repair and service dock and doors.
