Job Summary

If you’re searching for a dock auditor job in Clinton TN, Powder Cote II is hiring a 2nd shift Dock Auditor to verify outbound shipments, inspect parts, and support accurate shipping operations. In this role, you will review packaged automotive components, verify documentation, and ensure that every customer shipment meets our quality standards. You will work closely with Shipping, Production, and Quality teams to support accurate order fulfillment and strong customer satisfaction.

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Location: Clinton, TN

Responsibilities

The dock auditor role plays a crucial part in safely managing the shipping flow and ensuring the accuracy of outbound shipments.

• Audit outbound shipments for correct part numbers, counts, labels, and packaging.
• Inspect finished goods for contamination, damage, or coating issues before loading.
• Verify shipping paperwork, such as bills of lading and customer documentation.
• Communicate discrepancies to Shipping and Quality for quick resolution.
• Maintain organized shipping records and assist with carrier scheduling.
• Keep the dock area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety protocols.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting 25–50 lbs., bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods during the shift.
