Monday-Friday | 3:30 PM Start Time
Occasional weekends and overtime as needed for staffing Maintenance Technician requirements.
Powder Cote II is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Clinton, TN, for 2nd Shift. Located just 20 minutes north of Knoxville, TN. We are a leader in the electrocoating and powder coating for automotive and industrial components.

The Maintenance Technician on 2nd Shift in Clinton, TN, is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Troubleshoot and repair compressors, motors, HVAC systems, and industrial controls as a skilled maintenance technician.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
- Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and implement corrective solutions
- Conduct inspections and safety checks
- Operate shop tools, including drills, grinders, welders, hydraulic presses, and impact tools
- Communicate maintenance updates with supervisors and team members
- Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures
- Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred for technician candidates
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Experience working with industrial equipment and hand tools
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Manufacturing facility setting requires skilled Maintenance Technician staff
- Exposure to varying temperatures and industrial noise
- PPE required (steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses)
- Overtime may be required
