Overhead Door Mechanic / Dock and Door Technician

Currently, we are seeking an Overhead Door Mechanic / Dock and Door Technician to support our Allentown location and surrounding areas. Main Duties:

1. Oversee and assist in the repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems
2. Research and resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy while interacting effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds
3. Perform commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
4. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems related to overhead doors and dock leveling systems
5. Work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts, wearing PPE and fall protection equipment

Requirements:

• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Welding/fabricating experience is a plus
• Must have own tools
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Good driving record and active license
