Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics is seeking a Specimen Accessioner to ensure accurate intake, processing, and management of DNA testing cases. You will input data into LIS, verify chain of custody, and prepare final reports while collaborating with Laboratory Operations and Customer Service.

The role requires 1–2 years of data entry experience, a high school diploma, and strong attention to detail. It is a full-time position with daytime hours and opportunities to support kit assembly as needed.

Qualifications

• One to two years of data entry experience preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet production goals in a high-volume environment.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and typing skills are required.
• Strong multitasking while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of record-keeping and chain-of-custody protocols is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; team player.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify incoming sample packages with chain of custody and package integrity.
• Input and audit patient and contract information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Manage case assignments, track progress, and determine case resolution and closure.
• Identify complete and partial cases, following procedures for processing.
• Prepare and send final reports, chain-of-custody documents, and affidavits promptly.
• Input partial billing information.
• Coordinate and provide timely, effective, and client-centered service.
• Meet or exceed productivity targets and ensure timely case processing.
