Responsibilities

• Administers road examinations to applicants for all classes of driver’s licenses; serves as information clerk to the public; explains improper actions to applicants during the examination.
• Administers and grades written drivers examinations; explains incorrect test responses; codes applications according to results; administers vision tests.
• Performs cashier functions for driver license and motor vehicle fees; balances cash or checks; prepares deposit records and reports.
• Reviews and completes motor vehicle title and registration applications; accepts cash or checks for fees; prepares for final processing.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
