Job summary

The State of New Hampshire is seeking a full-time Registration Bureau - Agents Clerk (Clerk IV) in Concord, NH. The role trains and supports authorized agents on motor vehicle computer and financial systems, and answers questions at the counter and over the phone.

There is a trainee option with reduced qualifications; selected candidates may require fingerprint and criminal background checks, and must be able to travel to satellite offices across the state.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Selected candidate will undergo fingerprint based criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
• May be required to work a flexible schedule including early morning, evening, and/or weekend hours.
• Must be able to travel throughout the state and work at various satellite offices.

Responsibilities

• Trains authorized agents on the use of Motor Vehicle systems and procedures.
• Answers questions at the counter, during training, and by phone, assisting agents and customers.
• Trains at various town and city clerk offices and monitors agent compliance with laws and policies.
• Trains DMV personnel and other entities in the Motor Vehicle computer systems and related processes.
• Performs customer service, clerical duties, and completes Motor Vehicle transactions.
• Assists in implementing new software/hardware and schedules training.
• Troubleshoots problems and verifies documents for accuracy and authenticity.
• Attends meetings across the State.

Education
