Job summary

The State of Indiana is seeking a Customer Service Representative 2 at the Corydon BMV to administer driving exams and assist customers with titles and registrations. You will handle cash and card transactions and work at a front-line level in a busy service environment.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, and a valid license for the past year. Applicants should be comfortable traveling to branch locations and delivering accurate, courteous service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license for at least the preceding 12 months.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to branch locations and training.
• Ability to interact calmly with diverse people and situations.
• Familiarity with operations of motor vehicles and Indiana driving laws.
• Ability to process cash and card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Administer driving skills tests and evaluate driving skills.
• Assist customers with vehicle or watercraft titles and registration needs.
• Maintain compliance with Indiana motor vehicle laws and regulations.
• Attend training classes and certification tests as required.
• Maintain privacy of customer records and data.
• May substitute for other Customer Service Representatives as needed.
