Job summary

The State of Indiana’s Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) seeks a Customer Service Representatives 2 at the Terre Haute branch to evaluate driving exams, assist with titles and registrations, and process customer transactions at the front line.

Role requires a high school diploma, 21+ years old, valid license, and ability to travel up to 20% if needed; the position offers comprehensive benefits and pension options in Indiana.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for the preceding 12-month period.
• Free from at-fault motor vehicle accidents that have resulted in death or serious bodily injury.

Responsibilities

• Administer skills tests and evaluate driving skills.
• Assist customers with vehicle/watercraft titles and registration needs.
• Maintain compliance with Indiana driving laws and vehicle operations.
• Attend training classes and/or certification tests as required.
• Maintain privacy of customer records and related information.
• Substitute for Customer Service Representatives as needed.
