Job summary

WNC Corp., a leading manufacturing and communications company, is seeking an IT/MIS leader to take overall responsibility for daily IT operations and service availability at the Texas site. You will manage IT infrastructure, networks, ERP/MES/WMS/QMS systems, and security, coordinating with vendors to ensure reliable production support.

You will lead the site MIS/IT team, ensure 24/7 production readiness, and drive continuous improvement across all IT domains supporting manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT/MIS management experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in IT service management (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request).
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES/WMS/QMS manufacturing apps.
  • Strong vendor management and outsourcing experience.
  • Excellent communication with technical and non‑technical users.

Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for daily IT operations and service availability at the manufacturing site.
  • Ensure stable and reliable operation of IT infrastructure, network, servers, endpoints, communication systems, and business applications.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identify potential issues, and take corrective actions before they impact business operations.
  • Establish and maintain standard IT operation procedures, maintenance schedules, monitoring mechanisms, and escalation processes.
  • Ensure critical IT services are properly supported during production operations and applications, including ERP, MES (SFCS), WMS, QMS, production reporting, and related systems.
  • Implement and enforce corporate IT security policies and standards at the manufacturing site.
  • Lead and manage the site MIS/IT operations team and ensure adequate daily IT support coverage.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure, network, endpoint, system/application support, and IT service management.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production-critical IT systems is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MES/WMS/QMS or other manufacturing applications is an advantage.
  • Experience in IT service management, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Request Management.
  • Experience managing IT vendors, service providers, and outsourced support.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT/MIS manager/operation, preferably within a manufacturing or factory environment.
