DME Coordinator

Pacific Medical, Inc. is a distributor of durable medical equipment specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, prosthetics, and orthotics. Established in 1987, we dedicate our heart to helping patients through excellent service and product technology.

We have an immediate opportunity for an entry‑level, full‑time DME Coordinator in the Seattle, WA territory. The role requires driving 5‑40% of the time and offers a chance to enrich patients’ lives, provide valuable service and cost savings to the medical community, and gain extensive experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily inventory management and product stocking, ensuring the medical center has the necessary products available for treatment.
  • Communicate with clinical staff to receive proper documentation to create a billable episode of care.
  • Perform measurement and application of orthopedic soft‑goods devices such as CPMs, knee orthoses, spinal bracing, ankle‑foot orthotics, and other devices as necessary.
  • Screen calls and emails regarding patient status and report potential problems to respective physicians and other care providers.
  • Act as a resource to nursing and therapy staff and provide in‑service training as needed.
  • Work under the supervision of nursing and therapy to provide care and service to patients and their families, following direction from clinical staff for delegation of tasks and adhering to policies and procedures associated with patient care.
  • Appropriately communicate and legibly document all care provided to the patient, reporting changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other team members to organize and prioritize functions necessary for patient care delivery.
  • Demonstrate competency for appropriate soft goods such as CPM per MD orders.
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative, prioritize, and demonstrate professional accountability.
  • Adhere to Medical Center policies/procedures and core values.
  • Work on a call rotation with the territory team to service the hospital on weekends and after hours.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements

Compensation

$42,000‑$60,000 annually with reimbursement for all eligible driving expenses.
