Job summary

Quest Diagnostics' Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City is seeking a team-focused lab associate to support specimen processing, data entry, and routine testing in a biohazard environment.

You will rotate weekend shifts, work 9:30 pm–8:00 am, and collaborate with technologists to deliver accurate patient results while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Sorting incoming specimens, prioritizing and immediately processing STAT and other critical tests.
• Must be able to work in two computer systems proficiently.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge: Must have good computer skills. Demonstrate manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Required Experience: High School Diploma or higher, Lab experience is desired.

Special Requirements

• Must have the ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Must be available for scheduled vacation and emergency coverage as needed.
• Must be available to rotate weekend shifts.

Physical And Mental Requirements

• Position requires data background with abilities to enter 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour
• Works in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habits
• Able to sit or stand for long periods
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment
