Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support DIY customers with advanced parts knowledge and store systems expertise. This full-time role emphasizes high customer service standards and accurate parts identification.

The position requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification is preferred. You’ll participate in inventory, stock management, and DIY service tasks with a focus on safety and selling skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with store inventory processes and checkout systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read safety rules, parts catalogs and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers and phone inquiries.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties: task assignment, safety, opening/closing duties.
• Assist in inventory processes like stocking, counts, and back stock.
