Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro who provides GAS2 selling experiences for DIY customers through in-store and phone interactions. The role includes expert parts knowledge, assisting with battery tests and installs, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, sales ability, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred. Flexibility for varied days and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in parts fulfillment.
• Valid driver's license required; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read safety rules and parts catalogs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Handle key holder duties including openings/closes and safety checks.
• Assist in inventory processes and store cleanliness.
• Operate POS and parts lookup systems; source from multiple channels.
