Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide GAS2 selling expertise and support DIY customers in-store and by phone. The role requires deep knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and store operations.

Qualified candidates typically have 3-5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication with customers and teammates. ASE certification is preferred but not required; candidates must be flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics (engine, suspension, brakes, electronics).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, parts catalogs; write simple notes.
• Complete the Parts Knowledge Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: opening/closing, safety, task assignment.
• Assist in store inventory: cycle counts, back stock, truck put away.
• Maintain store cleanliness across floors, bathrooms, and parking lot.
