Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business, assist customers in person and by phone, and meet sales goals. The role requires knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and parts knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.

The position can be part time or full time, with safety certification preferred. You'll handle inventory, operate POS and lookup systems, perform DIY services, and maintain store standards while delivering

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; build relationships with customers and team.
• Read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Use basic math for transactions and inventory counts.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in-store and by phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals; support service objectives.
• Perform DIY services (battery installs, wiper installations, etc.).
• Maintain store product and operational standards; assist inventory processes.
• Handle stocking, truck put-away, and cycle counts; back stock management.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
