Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY business, provide battery/wiper services, and help the store meet sales goals. You will gain knowledge of store systems, inventories, and parts while assisting customers in-person and by phone.

The role allows part-time or full-time scheduling and requires basic automotive knowledge, strong communication, and reliability. Training will cover inventory processes, safety, and POS usage.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn more.
• Capable of sourcing parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.
• Ability to use inventory and point-of-sale systems.
• Speaks/reads English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in store and over the phone.
• Meet personal sales goals and help the store reach targets.
• Support DIY services like battery installations and wiper installs.
• Maintain product presentation and store operational standards.
• Handle inventory tasks including put-away, cycle counts, and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts as needed and maintain cleanliness.
